Green Sandpiper – 1 flew from the muddy scrape in the garden of the staff accommodation behind Star Castle on the Garrison and possibly the same bird on Simpson’s Field, Tresco.
Bottlenose Dolphin – 2 south of Annet

Black-tailed Godwit – 1 on Tresco Great Pool
Sandwich Tern – 1 calling over Hugh Town, a definite precursor to autumn.
Common Swift – 2 over Holy Vale, 2 flew northeast over the Daymark, St. Martin’s and 6 over Tresco Estate Office.
Crossbill – 1 flew south over the garden of Star Castle staff accommodation and 1 flew over the road down to Holy Vale.

Sandwich Tern – 1 on Stony Island.
Common Swift – 2 over Hugh Town.

European Storm-petrel – 35 ringed at Porth Wreck 22:45 -00:30
Mediterranean Gull – 1 in Old Town Bay.

Semi-palmated Plover – 1 flew into Porth Hellick Pool and at times showed exceptionally well (photo). This is the 14th record for Scilly, the last was in 2017.

Shoveler – A drake and 3 females were on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Pochard – 3 drakes, a female and 2 young on Abby Pool, Tresco.
Hobby – ! flew over the Garrison.
