Sunday (08/02) to Sunday (15/02)
Apart from a Reed Bunting at Porth Hellick Bank om Sunday (08/02), 2 Firecrest on St. Mary’s on Friday (13/02 and a Great White Egret& a Little Grebe on and throughout the week at Porth Hellick, the only other sightings of note were 2 Fin Whale seen from various headlands in the week.
On a more sombre note several Puffin have been found dead on beaches across the island. This is thought to be due to extremely stormy weather preventing them from feeding.
