Woodcock – 2 flushed in Holy Vale and 1 flew east over Pump Lane.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in sallows by the road at Higher Moors Pumping Station.

Siberian Chiffchaff– 1 in sallows by the road at Higher Moors Pumping Station.

Firecrest – 3 in sallows by the road at Higher Moors Pumping Station and 1 in the Dump Clump.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 calling next to the Dump clump.

Tuesday (09/12)

No reports on another wet and windy day.

Wednesday (10/12)

Great White Egret – 1 Popplestone, Bryher.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 still halfway between the road & the hides at Porth Hellick.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 2 in the tamarisks on the beaches either side of Bryher Church.

Firecrest  – 2 on the south side of Timmy’s Hill, Bryher.

Mistle Thrush – 1 on Helvear.

Lesser Redpoll – 2 in the Porth Hellick ringing lanes.

Thursday (11/12)

Little Grebe  – 1 still on Porth Hellick Pool.

Friday (12/12)

Firecrest  – 1 in the Chaplaincy Garden, Hugh Town.

Black Redstart  – 1 in the carpark above Port Arlo.

Saturday (13/12)

Iceland Gull– A juvenile at Porthloo.

Little Egret – 11 on the rocks at north end of Porthloo.

Black Redstart  – 1 on Porthloo Beach.

Mistle Thrush – 1 flew over Watermill Lane.

Humpback Whale – At least 2, possibly 4, seen from various headlands on the islands.
