Cattle  Egret – 2 at Longstone.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 still in Sally Port back gardens. 1 by the road at Higher Moors and 1 in Porth Hellick Loop.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 at Rosehill and 1 in the Standing Stones Field

Lesser Whitethroat – A very late bird was feeding in a pine tree on Porth Hellick Loop

Firecrest – 1 in Sally Port back gardens and 4 at Rosehill.

Redwing – c50 feeding on the School Playing Field.

Black Redstart  – 2 Porthloo and 2 Porth Minnick.

Monday (24/11)

Dusky Warbler – 1 in Lower Moors.

Cattle Egret – 1 at Longstone.

Iceland Gull – 1 flew over Hugh Town.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 3 on the track from the road to Porth Hellick Pool and 1 on Porth Hellick Loop.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 3 on the track from the road to Porth Hellick Pool, 1 on Porth Hellick Loop and 2 in Lower Moors.

Firecrest – 4 on the track from the road to Porth Hellick Pool, 1 on Porth Hellick Loop and 2 in Lower Moors.

Tuesday (25/11)

Dusky Warbler – 1 on the northeast side of Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Ring-necked Duck – 1 still on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Shoveler – 3 on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Pochard – 9 on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Great Northern Diver  – 2 feeding off Morning Point and 2  off Gleaner Beach, Tresco.

Black-throated Diver – 1 off Gleaner Beach, Tresco.

Little Grebe – 2 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Cattle Egret – 1 on Pool Road, Tresco.

Spoonbill – 1 feeding in Bathinghouse Porth.

Grey Plover – 1 on Periglis Beach, St. Agnes.

Purple Sandpiper –  1 on Porthloo Beach and 1 on Gleaner Beach, Tresco.

Whimbrel – 1 on St. Agnes.

Woodcock – 5 in Lower Moors and 1 on St. Agnes.

Merlin – 1 hunting near the Old Millstone on Peninnis.

Yellow-legged Gull – 2 adults at New Grimsby, Tresco.

Common Gull – 3 first-winter birds at Porth Arlo.

Kingfisher – 1 at the sewage outfall at Morning Point.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Lower Moors,  1 in the Dump Clump and 1 on Pool Road, Tresco.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 5 in Lower Moors, 2 along Pool Road, Tresco, 1 on Barnaby Lane, St. Agnes and 1 at Porth Killier. St. Agnes.

Firecrest – 4 in Lower Moors,1 Newford Duck Pond, 3 on Pool Road, Tresco and 2 on Barnaby Lane, St. Agnes.

Black Redstart – 2 on Periglis Beach, St. Agnes.

Reed Bunting – 1 beside r=the Great Pool, Tresco.

Brambling – 1 in Lower Moors.

Wednesday (26/11)

Water Pipit – 1 on Porthloo Beach.

Cattle Egret – 2 in fields at the Telegraph Road/Pungies Lane junction.

Purple Sandpiper –  1 still on Porthloo Beach.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 in Lower Moors and 1 in the Standing Stones Field.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 3 in Lower Moors and 1 in the Standing Stones Field.

Firecrest – 4 in Lower Moors and 3 in the Standing Stones Field.

Black Redstart – 2 on Porthloo Beach.

Humpback Whale –1 was seen off the Daymark on St. Martin’s.

Thursday (27/11)

Very few reports on a wet foggy day.

Water Pipit – 1 still on Porthloo Beach.

Cattle Egret – 2 in fields at Longstone.

Purple Sandpiper –  1 still on Porthloo Beach (photo).

Scandinavian Herring Gull –  A sub-adult off Morning Point on the Garrison.

Yellow-legged Gull – An adult off Morning Point on the Garrison.

Mediterranean Gull – 14 off Morning Point on the Garrison.

Friday (28/11)

Water Pipit – 1 still on Porthloo Beach (photo)

Cattle Egret – 2 still in fields at Longstone.

Common Gull – 4 at Porthloo.

Merlin  – An immature male over Tregarthen’s Carpark

Kingfisher  – 1 at Porth Arlo.

Yellow-browed Warbler  – 1 between the road and the Stephen Sussex hide at Porth Hellick, 1 still in the Porth Hellick Loop, 1 at Rosehill, 1 at the junction of the turning for Mount Flagon/Porthloo Lane and 1 at Newford Duck Pond.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 at Rosehill.

Willow Warbler  – An unseasonal bird between the road and the Stephen Sussex hide

Firecrest  – 2 at Rosehill, 1 at the junction of the turning for Mount Flagon/Porthloo Lane and 1 at Newford Duck Pond.

Black Redstart  – 3 around Tregarthen’s Hotel Carpark.

Humpback Whale – 2 were seen off St. Martin’s.

Saturday (29/11)

Not a lot!

Dusky Warbler – 1 still in the pollarded willow area behind the dump and presumably the same at the back of the Dump Clump.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 opposite the seaward hide at Porth Hellick.
