Glossy Ibis – 1 flew east over Longstone and was then seen in Lower Moors.
Water Pipit – 1 on Porthloo Beach.
Great White Egret – 1 flew over Holy Vale.
Spoonbill – 1 on Puffin Island, Tresco.
Golden Plover – 8 on the airfield.
House Martin – 2 over Hugh Town/Garrison.
Skylark – 2 in a field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Sally Port back gardens, 1 Higher Moors, 1 in bushes on the road to Mount Flagon and 1 on Pump Road in a field just past Lower Moors.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 Higher Moors.
Firecrest – 1 in Sally Port back gardens, 2 in bushes on the road to Mount Flagon and 1 Higher Moors.
Mistle Thrush – 1 flew over Holy Vale.
Fieldfare – 3 on the airfield.
Black Redstart – 14 Porthloo.
Brambling – 9+ in a weedy field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis, 1 in the Parting Carn chicken field and 1 flew over Higher Moors.
Redpoll – 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station.
Siskin – 2 in the Parting Carn chicken field.
Reed Bunting – 1 by the Great Pool, Tresco.
Monday (17/11)
Ring-necked Duck – The first-winter male was on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Dusky Warbler – 1 on the Garrison coastal path by George Boscawen’s Battery.
Humpback Whale – The individual nicknamed Pi has returned to Scilly and was seen several times of headlands on St. Mary’s.
Little Grebe – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Goldeneye – A drake on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Lapwing – 2 flew northeast over Kittydown.
Purple Sandpiper – 1 on Little Porth.
Woodcock – 1 in Holy Vale.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Holy Vale.
Firecrest – 1 in Holy Vale and 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station.
Fieldfare – 5 flew east over the Garrison, 5 at Spray View, near Deep Point and flew in from the south towards Holy Vale.
Redwing – 100 flew east over the Garrison.
Brambling – 8 still in a weedy field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis, 4 in Holy Vale and 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station.
Tuesday (18/11)
Ring-necked Duck – The first-winter male was still on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Goldeneye – The drake was still on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Shoveler – 4 on the Great Pool and 2 on the Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Pochard – 27on the Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Little Grebe – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Great White Egret – 1 in Old Town Bay.
Cattle Egret – 2 in the cow fields at Old Grimsby, Tresco.
Lapwing – 1 flew over Newford Duck Pond and 2 flew over Tresco Stores at New Grimsby.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Pentle Bay.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 at the Rosehill end of Lower Moors, 1 calling near Nowhere, , 1 still in bushes on the road to Mount Flagon and 3 in the bushes by the road where the track from Higher Moors goes to hoy Vale.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 at the path to Porth Hellick by the start of the Loop Trail and 1 by the road at Porth Hellick/Higher Moors.
Firecrest – 1 by the road at Porth Hellick/Higher Moors.
Fieldfare – 1 on Peninnis.
Black Redstart – 3 at Porthloo.
Brambling – 3+ on Peninnis.

Ring-necked Duck – The first-winter male was still on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Shoveler – 3 on the Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Wigeon – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Pochard – 14 on the Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Great Northern Diver – 1 in Porth Cressa Bay.
Great White Egret – 1 in Old Town Bay and it or another seen later in a field at Parting Carn
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 still near Porthloo Duck Pond.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 in Holy Vale wood.
Mistle Thrush – 2 on the Golf Course and 1 in the Carn Friars orchard maze field.
Fieldfare – 6 in the Carn Friars orchard maze field.
Thursday (20/11)

Mistle Thrush – 3 on the Golf Course and 1 at the riding stables.
Fieldfare – 2 in Holy Vale, 2 at the riding stables and 4 at Carn Friars.
Redwing – 15 in Holy Vale.
Black Redstart – 3 Porth Cressa/ Little Porth and 4 Porthloo.
Brambling – 2 males in Holy Vale.
Friday (21/11)
Dusky Warbler – 1 in sallows at the north end of Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Red-breasted Flycatcher – A first-winter bird on the sandy beach below Bant’s Carn.
Black-throated Diver – 1in the Roads off the north end of the Golf Course.
Goldeneye – A drake on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Jack Snipe – 1 flushed from Porth Hellick Loop.
Kingfisher – 1 in Lower Moors.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 on Sallyport, 1 Rosehill and 1 in the Dump Clump.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 2 in the Dump Clump and 2 Rosehill.
Willow Warbler – 2 late birds, 1 in the Dump Clump and 1 at Abey Crossroads, Tresco.
Firecrest – 1 in the Dump Clump and 2 Rosehill.
Black Redstart – 4 Porthloo, 7 on the east end of Porth Cressa and 4 at the other end (Little Porth).
Brambling – 1 in the Dump Clump.
Saturday (22/11)
Dusky Warbler – 1 possibly 2 were roaming between Newford Duck Pond and the top of Watermill (photo) and another at Rosehill.
Yellow Wagtail – A very late record of 1 flying over Pungies Lane and then over Mount Todden. I t was heard to call and was not an Eastern Yellow Wagtail.
Great Northern Diver – 1 in Porth Cressa Bay.
Golden Plover – 3 on the airfield.
Cattle Egret – 2 in a field on the right hand side of Pump Road between Rosehill and the Parting Carn turn and later at Longstone.
Firecrest – 1 in the hedge between Newford Duck Pond and the top of Watermill (photo).
Black Redstart – 4 Porth Cressa and 3 Little Porth.
