Wilson’s Phalarope – 1 was still on Porth Hellick Pool (photo).

Spotted Sandpiper – 1 still at St. Warna’s Cove, St. Agnes.

Yellowhammer – 1 was seen briefly  and photographed in Lower Moors. This is a very rare bird on Scilly. It is the first record since 2019 and only the 8th this century.

Rose-coloured Starling – The juvenile was again on roofs in Old Town.

Hoopoe – 1 was seen around St, Agnes (photo)

Great White Egret – 1 on St. Martin’s.

Cattle Egret – 1 on Simpson’s Field, Tresco

Spoonbill  – 2 on Green Island.

Richard’s Pipit – 1 still on St. Agnes in a field at Castella Down.

Curlew Sandpiper – 2 on Porthloo Beach and 3 on St. Agnes.

Knot – 1 on Par Beach, St. Martin’s.

Common Sandpiper – 1 on St. Agnes.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 on Porthloo Beach.

Marsh ?Harrier – 1 over St. Martin’s.

Kingfisher – 1 Porth Mellon, 1 Porth Hellick Pool, and 1 Newford Duck Pond,

Wryneck – 1 at Bryher Dump and 1 on Chapel Down, St. Martin’s.

Turtle Dove – 1 on St. Agnes.

Raven – 1 Porth Hellick and 1 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s

Firecrest – 1 at Content, 1 in Carreg Dhu Gardens, 1 Newford Duck Pond and 1 on Pool Road, Tresco

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Lower Moors, 1 Watermill.1 Porth Hellick ringing lanes and 2 at Newford Duck Pond.

Redwing – 1 on Green Lane.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Newford Duck Pond, 2 Bryher, 2 St. Martin’s and  1 on Tresco.

Pied flycatcher – 1 at the top of Watermill Lane, 1 Newford Duck Pond, 1 Holy Vale and 1 at Content.

Whinchat – 1 on Helvear, 1 on St. Agnes, 2 on St. Martin’s and 2 on Tresco.

Black Redstart – 1 at Pelistry.

Common Redstart – 1 on Helvear. 5 on Tresco and 1 on St. Agnes.

White Wagtail – 1 on St. Agnes.

Grey Wagtail – 5 on St. Mary’s.

Siskin – 3 at Pelistry.

Brambling – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.

Friday (03/10)

Wilson’s Phalarope – 1 was still on Porth Hellick Pool, making a brief visit to Lower Moors before returning to Porth Hellick.

Hoopoe – 1 was still on St. Agnes.

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 by the Municipal Dump and later in Pilot’s Retreat, Hugh Town.

Great White Egret – 1 on Bryher was probably the same bird seen on Tresco and then later on St. Mary’s.

Cattle Egret – 1 on Tresco.

Common Scoter – A juvenile in Great Bay, St. Martin’s.

Little Egret – 8 at Porthloo and 17 on Tresco.

Curlew Sandpiper – 2 on Porthloo Beach.

Knot – 1  still on Par Beach, St. Martin’s.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 on Porthloo Beach.

Whimbrel – 1 on Porthloo Beach.

Kingfisher – 1 landed on the ISBG Hide in Lower Moors and 1 on St. Martin’s.

Firecrest – 1 opposite Longstone Cottage and 1 Porthloo Lane.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 at Newford Duck Pond.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 at Longstone and 1 Porthloo Lane.

Common Redstart  – 1 Halangy Porth.

Yellow Wagtail  – 3 flew from Old Town Church to Lower Moors Pool and back.

Grey Wagtail  – 3 in Old Town Bay, 1 in the bulb field at the bottom of Rocky Hill and 1 on Tresco.

Brambling – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.

Saturday (04/10)

Wilson’s Phalarope – 1 was still on Porth Hellick Pool and again made a brief visit to Lower Moors before returning.

Rose-coloured Starling – The juvenile was in the Old Town Beach/Trench Lane area.

Glossy Ibis  – 1 flew in over Peninnis, then over Lower Moors, Old Town and finally over the airfield and out to sea,

Great White Egret – 1 on Tresco.

Cattle Egret  – 1 on Great Pool, Tresco.

Little Egret – 2 Old Town Bay and 10 on Tresco.

Ruff – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Bar-tailed Godwit  – 2 on Toll’s Island

Black-tailed Godwit  – 1 on Great Pool, Tresco.
Whimbrel– 2 Porth Hellick Beach and 1 on Toll’s Island 

Osprey – 1 flew out to sea from Porth Hellick.

Short-eared Owl – 1 in a field hedge on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay

Firecrest – 3 in Carreg Dhu Gardens.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Lower Moors, 1 at Newford Duck Pond and 1 still in the sallows at beach end of Watermill.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 on the Dead Pine Walk, Garrison, 2 Sunnyside Farm Trail, 1 Carreg Dhu, 2 Rocky Hill and 2 opposite Holy Vale Vineyard.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 on the Dead Pine Walk, Garrison, 1 Sunnyside Farm Trail, 1 Watermill, 2 Rocky Hill, 1 on rocks on Pelistry Beach

Common Redstart – 1 flew past Old Town Café, and 1 on Sandy Lane.

Yellow Wagtail – 1 at Troy Town, St. Agnes.

Grey Wagtail – 1 on Old Town Beach and 3 in a field on the track from Longstone to Parting Carn.

White Wagtail  – 1 in a horse field north of Normandy and 3 at Maypole.
