Mediterranean Gull – 2 first-summer birds on the Big Pool, St. Agnes.

Thursday (08/06)

Red Kite – Still a few remaining.

Pintail – A drake on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Shoveler– A pair on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Pochard – A female and 2 ducklings on the Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Sanderling – 5 at Beady Pool, St. Agnes.

Sandwich Tern – 3 in Tresco Channel.

Mediterranean Gull – A first-summer bird at Beady Pool, St. Agnes.

Common Swift – 2 over New Grimsby, Tresco.

Cuckoo – 1 on Gugh.

Friday (09/06)

Purple Heron – A “probable” flew low past Longstone Bungalow at 21:00 heading towards the Higher Moors/Porth Hellick area.

Red Kite – Still about 10 on the islands.

Mediterranean Gull – The first-summer bird was still at Beady Pool, St. Agnes.

Saturday (10/06)

Nightjar – Following on from the one seen last week on St. Agnes, 1 was heard churring in the pines behind Longstone Terrace. After none for 7 years now 2 ten days apart.

Golden Oriole – 1 singing again in the elms towards the bottom of Watermill Lane,

Red Kite – Still about 10 on the islands.

Mediterranean Gull – 1 on the Big Pool, St. Agnes.

Hobby – 1 flew over Content Lane.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing in Lower Moors.

Sunday (11/06)

Nightjar – The bird heard las night was churring again in the same area.

Red Kite – Only 3 or 4 reported today.

Buzzard – 1 was being mobbed over Longstone Café.

Siskin – 1 flew north over Telegraph.
