Cory’s Shearwater – 1 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Great Shearwater – 2 flew past Deep Point , 3 past White Island, St. Martin’s and 12 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Sooty Shearwater – 1 flew past Deep Point and 1 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Balearic Shearwater – 1 seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Wryneck – 1 at Darrity’s Hole near Deep Point and 1 behind Adam’s fish & chip restaurant, St. Martin’s.

Curlew Sandpiper – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco and 1 on Periglis Beach, St. Agnes

Black-tailed Godwit – 3 on Abbey Pool and 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 5 on St. Martin’s Flats.

Jack Snipe – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Little Egret – 3 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Merlin – 1 on Pool Road, Tresco.

Kingfisher – 1 Pelistry Bay and 2 Porth Hellick.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 calling at the Telegraph Road end of Lower Moors.

Skylark – 1 in off the sea on Peninnis.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 in the Dump Clump.

Whinchat – 3 Porth Hellick, 1 Carn Friars Farm, 1 Deep Point and 2 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.

White Wagtail – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Grey Wagtail – 4 around St. Mary’s, 1 on the Abbey Pool and 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Tree Pipit – 4 at Green Farm.

Risso’s Dolphin – 6 past Deep Point.

Sunday (25/09)

Common Rosefinch – 1 feeding on blackberries in a garden at the south end of Gugh

Lapland Bunting – 1 seen and heard briefly on Castle down, Tresco.

Spotted Redshank – 1 on Abbey Pool later moving to the Great Pool, Tresco.

Wryneck – 1 at Porthloo by the excavators.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 calling at Kittydown.

Barred Warbler – 1 at Old Grimsby.

Red-backed Shrike – 1 at Deep Point

Yellow-browed Warbler – The first of the autumn were 1 in Lower Moors by Shooters’ Pool, 1 on the Garrison by the entrance to the campsite and 1 above Watermill Cove. 

Wood Warbler – 1 between the hides on Pool Road, Tresco.

Cory’s Shearwater – 1 off shore from St. Agnes.

Pintail – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Tufted Duck – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Pochard – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.2

Little Egret – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco and 3 in Tresco Channel.

Curlew Sandpiper – 5 on the Great Pool, Tresco and 1 on Periglis Beach, St. Agnes.

Golden Plover – 1 at the south turning circle on the airfield.

Black-tailed Godwit – 3 on Abbey Pool and 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.//

Firecrest – 2 in Carreg Dhu Gardens and 1 in Holy Vale opposite the entrance to the vineyard,

Ring Ouzel – 1 at the south turning circle on the airfield.

Whinchat – 1 Porth Hellick.

Common Redstart – 1 at Rowesfield Crossroads, Tresco.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 at the bottom of Rocky Hill, 1 on the Loop Trail at Porth Hellick and 1 near the David Hunt Hide on Pool Road, Tresco.

Yellow Wagtail – 1 at Porth Hellick, 1 on Abbey Pool, Tresco and 1 flew past the David Hunt Hide on the Great Pool, Tresco. 

Monday (26/09)

Little Stint – 1 Porth Hellick Beach (photo).

Curlew Sandpiper – 2 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Wryneck – 1 by the turning circle on the airfield 1 still in the quarry at Deep Point.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 At Newford Duck Pond, 1 in the Dump Clump and at Rosehill opposite the entrance to Lower Moors.

Pintail – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Wigeon – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Water Rail – 2 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Little Egret – 1 in off the sea at Porth Hellick Bay and 1 Porthloo

Golden Plover – 3 on the airfield in the evening.

Common Sandpiper – 1 on Lower Moors Pool.

Whimbrel – 1 on Porth Hellick Beach.

Merlin – A female flew over Lower Moors.

Kingfisher – 1 Porth Hellick Beach.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 calling in Lower Moors

Firecrest – 1 in Carreg Dhu Gardens.

Grey Wagtail – 1 Porth Hellick Pool.

Tuesday (27/09) 

Common Rosefinch – 1 was between the 2 quays on Bryher.

Wryneck – 1 on the track to Deep Point flew towards the quarry.

Pochard – 1 on the Great Pool.

Golden Plover – 4 on the airfield.

Snipe – 1 on the Abbey Pool.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Tresco Channel.

Whimbrel – 2 on Porth Cressa Beach.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the bushes by the seaward hide at Porth Hellick.

Firecrest – 2 in Carreg Dhu Gardens and 1 in Holy Vale.

Whinchat – 2 on Bryher.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 At Newford Duck Pond and 1 in Holy Vale.
