Bee-eater – 4 flew over the Garrison and were relocated near Porthloo Duck Pond from where they flew off high northwest after about 40 minutes.

Red-footed Falcon – A “possible” flew over Hugh Town.

Hen Harrier – A male flew high over Porthloo heading north towards the Golf Course.

Swift – 1 flew high over Hugh Town.

Redwing – A very unseasonable bird was on Tresco Heliport.

White Wagtail – 1 at Porth Hellick.

Black Redstart – 1 at Newman Battery on the Garrison

Tuesday (31/05)

Bee-eater – 3 flew over the Garrison towards Hugh Town.

Golden Plover – 3 on the Golf Course.

Little Egret – 1 at Green Bay, Bryher.

Great Northern Diver –7 near Annet.

European Storm-petrel – 12 on the evening pelagic trip.

Sooty Shearwater – 1 on the evening pelagic trip (photo).

Manx Shearwater – 500+ on the evening pelagic trip (photo).

Common Tern – 3 on the evening pelagic trip.

White Wagtail – 1 at Porth Hellick, 1 at Hillside Farm, Bryher and 1 on Bryher Pool.

Common Dolphin – 100+ on the evening pelagic trip (photo).

Ocean Sunfish – 1 on the evening pelagic trip.

Wednesday (01/06)

Turtle Dove – 1 at Hillside Farm, Bryher

Cuckoo – 1 on the coast at Helvear and 1 on St. Agnes.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in a garden behind Star Castle on the Garrison.

White Wagtail – 1 at Porth Hellick.

Thursday (02/06)

Hobby – 1n over the Newford Duck Pond area.

Cuckoo – There seems to have been a small arrival of birds with the 2 yesterday and today 1 Holy Vale, 1 Watermill & 1 at Morwell.

White Wagtail – 1 on the Golf Course.

Siskin – 1 flew over Content Lane.

Friday (03/06)

Common Sandpiper – 1 on Bryher Pool.

Hen Harrier – 1 flew over Innisidgen towards Pelistry.

Hobby – 1 flew from St. Mary’s to St. Martin’s.

Saturday (04/06)

Little Bittern – A male was found at Porth Hellick Pool in the afternoon (photo).

Night Heron – 1 flew over Porth Hellick Pool at dusk.

Golden Oriole – 1 singing in the pine belt on the Garrison.

Spotted Flycatcher – 2 on St. Agnes.

Sunday (05/06)

Little Bittern – The male was still at Porth Hellick Pool (photo).

Whimbrel – 2 on Samson.
