Due to Storm Eunice, no one ventured abroad and hence no reports. The only things flying were roof tiles and tree branches!

Still very few reports due to the weather.
Shelduck – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool
Purple Sandpiper – 1 in Carn Leh on a the bigger rock close to Peninnis.
Little Egret – 1 in Porth Hellick Bay.
Redwing – 9 off Ropewalk, Porthloo and 1 on the School Playing Field.
Sunday (20/02)
Still very windy.
Spoonbill – 2 on Samson.
Common Gull – An adult at Porth Cressa.
Manx Shearwater – 2 flew west past Giant’s Castle.
Black Redstart – 1 Little Porth and 1 below Tregarthen’s Hotel.
Brambling – The female was still in the field with cows at Pelistry
Monday (21/02)
Surf Scoter – 1 still off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Spoonbill – 1 on Samson.
Eider – A female still off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Common Gull – An adult at Porth Cressa.
Whimbrel – 3 Pelistry Bay.
Black Redstart – 1 Little Porth and 1 in front of Tregarthen’s Hotel.
Tuesday (22/02)
Surf Scoter – 1 still off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Glossy Ibis – 1 still on Tresco, in a field on the north side of the Great Pool.
Spoonbill – 3 on Samson.
Little Egret – 3 flew over Porthloo.
Black-throated Diver – 1 off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Great Northern Diver – 2 off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Long-eared Owl – A bird that flew across the road by the school car park was thought to be this species.
Merlin – 1 at Porthloo
Wednesday (23/02)
Lesser Scaup – 1 still on Abbey Poll, Tresco.
Surf Scoter – 1 still off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Cattle Egret – 3 on Simpson’s Field, Tresco.
Spoonbill – 3 Samson Flats.
Manx Shearwater – 2 flew west past Peninnis.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing from brambles by Porthloo Duck Pond.
Black Redstart – 1 on Porthloo Beach.
Redwing – 4 on the School Playing Field.
Thursday (24/02)
Spoonbill – 1 on Samson.
Common Gull – 11 Porthloo.
Redwing – 4 at Pelistry Riding Stables.
Black Redstart – 1 Sallyport.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 Sallyport.

Eider – 1 a female off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Purple Sandpiper – 9 on a rock off Carn Leh, Old Town Bay.
Black-throated Diver – 1 off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Great Northern Diver – 1 off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing at Rosehill.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 at Porth Hellick.
Black Redstart – 1 at Little Porth, 1 at Porthloo and 1 at Shark’s Pit.
