Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Porthloo.

Great Northern Diver – 2 Old Town Bay.

Swallow – 3 Porth Hellick.

Mistle Thrush – 1 Porth Hellick.

Black Redstart – 1 Little Porth and 2 Porthloo.

Brambling – 15+ at Porth Hellick (photo) and 2 Lower Moors

Monday (22/11)

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 3 Porth Hellick, 1 in the sallows by Higher Moors pumping station, 3 Shooter’s Pool and 1 Trench Lane.

Spoonbill – 1 on Samson flats.

Wigeon – A pair on Porth Hellick Pool.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 on Porthloo Beach which roosted on Taylor’s Island.

Firecrest – 1 in the sallows by Higher Moors pumping station.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 Carn Gwaval,

Swallow – 3 over the school playing field and 2 Porthloo.

Redwing – 60 + in the Newford/Watermill area and 75 Carn Gwaval

Fieldfare – 37 in the horse field at the junction of Pungies Lane & Watermill and 3 Carn Gwaval.

Mistle Thrush – 1 Carn Friars Farm.

Siskin – 1 on a feeder in a garden at Holy Vale.

Brambling – 32 on Porth Hellick Beach, 2 Sunnyside Farm Trail and 4 Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors .

Redpoll sp. – 1 in the trees behind Porth Hellick Beach and then flew inland.

Tuesday (23/11)

Spotted Sandpiper – The bird first seen at Porthloo on October 14th was back at Watermill Cove.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 still near Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 5 Porth Hellick, 3 in the dump Clump and 1 still near Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors.

Wigeon – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Reed Warbler – The very late bird was still in Lower Moors.

Swallow – 3 over Parting Carn and 2 of these or others around the Dump

Mistle Thrush – 2 Parting Carn.

Black Redstart – 5 on Porthloo Beach 1 Porth Hellick.

Brambling – 10 at Porth Hellick and 1 flew over Lower Moors.

Reed Bunting – 1 at Porth Hellick.

Wednesday (24/11) 

Lesser Scaup – 1 still on Tresco.

Dusky Warbler – 1 still on Tresco.

Spotted Sandpiper – The long staying bird was back on Porthloo Beach.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 on Tresco.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 10+ on Tresco.

Willow Warbler – A “northern type” on Tresco.

Lesser Whitethroat – An “eastern type” on Tresco.

Cattle Egret – 2 on Tresco.

Spoonbill – 3 on Samson Flats.

Whooper Swan – 6 on Tresco.

Wigeon – 5 on Tresco.

Pintail – 2 on Tresco.

Shoveler – 1 on Tresco.

Jack Snipe – 3 on Lower Moors Pool (photo).

Common Snipe –22 on Lower Moors Pool.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 on Porthloo Beach.

Mistle Thrush – 1 still at Parting Carn.

Swallow – 4 at Parting Carn Farm.

Grey Wagtail – 1 on Tresco.

Brambling – A “few “ at Porth Hellick.

Siskin – 3 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station.

Thursday (25/11)

Not a lot reported on a wet and windy day:

Spoonbill – 1 on Samson Flats.

Little Egret – 1 Old Town Bay.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 3 in Lower Moors.

Great Northern Diver – 1 off the southwest side of Peninnis.

Woodcock – 1 in Lower Moors.

Whimbrel – 1 below the Lighthouse on Peninnis.

Black Redstart – 1 near the Lighthouse on Peninnis, 1 on the roof of Old Town Café and probably the same bird in Launceston Close, Old Town.

Friday (26/11)

The only report was of 100 Redwing and 25 Fieldfare at Pelistry Riding Stables.

Saturday (27/11)

Snow Bunting – 1 on the main path to the Daymark, St. Martin’s.

Jack Snipe – 1 Lower Moors.

Yellow-legged Gull – 1 flew north close in off Toll’s Hill.

Shelduck – 1 at Porthloo.

Great Northern Diver – 1 Pendrathen, 1in Porth Cressa Bay and 1 in Old Town Bay.

Little Egret – 4 Pendrathen.

Lapwing – 1 at Porthloo.

Whimbrel – 1 Porth Wreck.

Mediterranean Gull – 2 at Porthloo.

Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Quay.

Black Redstart – 1 in Old Town Churchyard, 1 on Old Town Beach and 1 at Porthloo.
