Arctic Warbler – 1 still on Content Lane.

Western Subalpine Warbler – 1 still in the hedge at Content.

Hoopoe – 1 on the school playing field on St. Martin’s.

Snow Bunting – 1 on St. Martin’s.

Hawfinch – 1 flew north over the Garrison.

Glaucous Gull – a 1st-winter bird flew over Hugh Town and was later seen off Bar Point from the Scillonian III.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the Chaplaincy Garden St. Mary’s.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 3+ in Lower Moors, 2 in the Dump Clump, 1 Holy Vale and 1 St. Agnes.

Lesser Whitethroat – A pale bird, possibly one of the eastern races, was beside the road at Carn Friars.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 4 close on off Bar Point.

Pink-footed Goose – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.

Shelduck – 1 St. Agnes.

Merlin – 2 over Watermill/ Helvear and 1 St. Agnes.

Lapwing – 2 at Telegraph were later seen flying over Content.

Mediterranean Gull – 4 Little Porth.

Raven – 1 over Pendrathen.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 in the Standing Stones Field.

Redwing – Another influx with 200 in the Watermill/Helvear area, 400 Sunnyside Farm, 100+ in Holy Vale

Fieldfare – 100 over a Friars, 20 Sunnyside Farm, 12 St. Martin’s and 1 St. Agnes.

Black Redstart – 1 Porth Cressa and 4 St. Agnes.

Common Redstart – A male, a very late bird, was in the chicken field at Sandy Banks.

Brambling – 25 flew over Maypole, 2 in Holy Vale, 10+ flew north over the Garrison a “few” in the Helvear/Watermill/Newford Ponds area, and 8 St. Agnes.

Redpoll – 1 flew north over the Garrison.

Spotted Sandpiper 1 still at Watermill cove, showing very well (photo).

Little Egret – 1 on Porthloo Beach.

Mistle Thrush – 1 Parting Carn.

Redwing – 50 on the Five Islands School playing fields including an albino bird.

Lesser Whitethroat – The pale bird, seen yesterday by the road at Carn Friars, was at Higher Moors by the pumping station.

Black Redstart – 2 on Porthloo Beach.

White Wagtail – 5 on Porthloo Beach.

Brambling – 2 Sallyport.

Friday (05/11)

Lesser Scaup – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 on the roof of Peninnis Farm before flying towards Buzza (photo).

Glossy Ibis – 1 flew over Pool Road, Tresco.

Jack Snipe – 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick (photo) and 2 seen on Porth Hellick Pool from the Stephen Sussex hide.

Spoonbill – 1 on Green Island.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 3 Lower Moors and 1 on Porth Hellick Loop Trail.

Spotted Redshank – 1 still on Tresco on Simpson’s Field.

Whooper Swan – 6 still on Tresco on Simpson’s Field.

Pink-footed Goose – 9 on the hillside behind St.Nicholas’s Church, Tresco.

Great Northern Diver – 1 off Watermill towards St. Martin’s.

Arctic Skua – 2 seen from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Little Egret – 4 on the Great Pool, Tresco and 1 Porth Cressa.

Lapwing – 1 flew over the Great Pool, Tresco.

Woodcock – 1 at Longstone.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 still at Porth Hellick in the bushes by the road.

Redwing – “Lots” arriving on St. Mary’s.

Fieldfare – As Redwing “lots” arriving on St. Mary’s.

Common Redstart – The very late bird, was still in Sandy Banks/ Bay view Terrae area.

Brambling – 1 Lower Moors, 1 Longstone and 5 Pool Road, Tresco.

Redpoll – 1 flew over Lower Moors.
