After scrutiny of photographs, the Acro seen yesterday and identified as a putative Blyth’s Reed Warbler, has been re-identified as a Reed Warbler.

Spotted Sandpiper – 1 still on St. Mary’s at Pendrathen.

Western? Subalpine Warbler – A0n individual seen in fields east of Telegraph Road was thought to be this species (photo).

Hoopoe –1 still at the north end of Popplestone Fields, Bryher (photo).

Olive-backed Pipit – 1 still in the weedy field next to Nowhere allotment.

Glossy Ibis – 1 flew over St. Martin’s, Bryher, Tresco and St. Mary’s (photo).

Richard’s Pipit – 1 still in the grassy field on High Lanes.

Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 in pines north of the Community Hall on St. Martin’s (photo).

Woodlark – 1 still in a field on Sunnyside Farm Trail.

Rose-coloured Starling – A juvenile in the Telegraph area.

Hawfinch – 1 flew over Green Farm towards Watermill.

Wryneck – 1 still on Gweal Hill, Bryher. 

Water Pipit – 3 in a field at Four Lanes.

Lapland Bunting – 1 flew over Lower Moors and 1 St. Agnes.

Snow Bunting – 1 between the end of Barnaby Lane & St. Warna’s Cove, St. Agnes, 1 flew over the north end of Tresco and 1 flew over Great Bay, St. Martins.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 by the Garrison Playing Fields, 1 Carn Gwaval and 1 in Old Town Churchyard.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 by Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors, 2 Porth Hellick and 3 on St. Agnes,

Red-throated Diver – 1 off Great Bay, St. Martins.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 4 on Green Island, Tresco and probably the same 4 off Higher Town Beach, St. Martin’s.

Pink-footed Goose – 1 in the field opposite the track to Kittydown near Mount Todden

Eider – The drake was still in Pentle Bay, Tresco.

Little Egret – 1 Old Town Bay.

Great Skua – 2 seen on the “Scilly side” from the Scillonian III on the return journey from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Purple Sandpiper – 1 at Porth Coose, St. Agnes.

Lapwing – 1 in a field at he north end of Telegraph Road.

Golden Plover – 1 flew over the Golf Course.

Woodcock – 4 St. Agnes.

Ring Ouzel – 1 Carn Friars and 1 on Castle Down, Tresco.

Black Redstart – 1 Church Porth, 1 Porthloo and 2 on St. Agnes.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 near St. Nicholas’s Church, Tresco and 1 still in the cricket pitch elms on St. Martin’s.

Grey Wagtail – 1 Porth Hellick Pool.

Lesser Redpoll – 1 flew over Watermill.
