Common Rosefinch – 1 on seaweed at St.Warna’s cove, St. Agnes.
Wryneck – 1 at Stinking Porth, Bryher.
Bluethroat – 1 on Gweal Hill, Bryher,
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 still near the Seven Stones Inn. St. Martin’s.
Spotted Redshank – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Jack Snipe – 1 flew from the Garrison towards St. Agnes, 5+ at Porth Hellick Pool (including 1 that was trapped & ringed), 1 flew over Lower Moors, 1 was on Tresco and 1 on Bryher.
Lapland Bunting – 1 flushed by a Merlin on King Edward’s road, Peninnis.
Snow Bunting – 1 on the path along the Garrison walls at Redan “B”
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the Parsonage Garden, St. Agnes.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 near Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors.
Great Shearwater – 1 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s.
Sooty Shearwater – 6 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s (photo).
Manx Shearwater – 15 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s.
Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 1 Bryher.
Pink-footed Goose – 2 Tresco.
Little Egret – 1 Bryher.
Shelduck – 8 on Green Island, Samson.
Red-breasted Merganser – 1 flew across Old town Bay.
Eider – 1 still near Guther’s Island.
Common Scoter – 2 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s.
Golden Plover – 2 on the Golf Course.
Whimbrel – 11 Porth Hellick Bay and 1 at Toll’s Porth.
Black-tailed Godwit – 5 flew over Longstone and then in various numbers at Porth Hellick Pool, Newford Duck Pond, the Great Pool, Tresco and Bryher Pool (photo).
Purple Sandpiper – 12 on the Western Rocks (photo).
Common Sandpiper – 1 at Toll’s Porth.
Mediterranean Gull – 13 in Tresco Channel.
Great Skua – 2 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s.
Puffin – 3 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s (photo).
Short-eared Owl – 1 on Porth Hellick Down.
Merlin – A female on King Edward’s road, Peninnis.
Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay.
Raven – 1 Bryher.
Skylark – 6 on Tresco and 1 flew over Morning Point on the Garrison.
Redwing – A small influx into the islands.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 near the ISBG hide, Lower Moors.
Lesser Whitethroat – 1 below the school on St. Martin’s.
Whinchat – 1 perched on the net poles in the ringing lanes at Porth Hellick.
Firecrest – 1 behind the Cadet Hut on the Garrison.
Black Redstart – 1 at Longstone, 1 Peninnis Head, 1 Porthloo Boatyard, 1 Porth Minnick, 2 on the Airfield.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 behind the Cadet hut on the Garrison, 1 Borough Farm, Tresco, 1 near the Seven Stones Inn. St. Martin’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 2 at Green Bay, Bryher and 1 near the Seven Stones Inn. St. Martin’s.
Tree Pipit – 1 flew west over Lower Moors.
Grey Wagtail – 2 flew over Lower Moors and 1 on Tresco.
Crossbill – 14 flying around Middle Town, St. Martin’s.
Siskin – 8 Newford Duck Pond, 2 Carreg Dhu Gardens, and 2 Pool Road, Tresco.
Short-billed Common Dolphin – 30 seen on a pelagic trip 3 miles west of St. Mary’s.
