Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 near the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.

Short-toed Lark – A “possible” seen in flight between Stony Porth & Green Bay, Bryher.

Spotted Redshank – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Jack Snipe – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool and 3 on the Lower Moors Pool.

Lapland Bunting – The first of the autumn was 1 flushed by a Merlin on Castle Down, Tresco.

Snow Bunting – 1 still on the Garrison along the various redoubts on the walls, 1 on the west side of Peninnis, 1 near the Daymark on St. Martin’s and 1 still at Browarth, St. Agnes,

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 behind St.Martin’s Cricket Pitch.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 2 in Lower Moors.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 1 on Bryher Pool and 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Little Egret – 1 on Merrick Island, Tresco Channel.

Shelduck – 3 on Samson.

Eider – A drake flew west past Bar Point.

Golden Plover – 1 flew over the Daymark, St. Martin’s.

Knot – 4 on Tresco.

Whimbrel – 1 Periglis.

Mediterranean Gull – 1 Porth Cressa, 9 on St. Martin’s.

Short-eared Owl – 1 on St. Agnes.

Merlin – 1 flew over the Airport towards Peninnis, 1 Parting Carn, 1 St. Agnes and 1 Castle Down, Tresco,

Hobby – 1 fighting with a Kestrel over Barnaby Lane.

Kingfisher – 1 on the Lower Moors Pool and 1 Old Town Bay.

Raven – 1 Tresco and 1 St. Martin’s.

Skylark – 1 flew over Barnaby Lane.

Ring Ouzel – 1 flew west over Old Town Bay.

Redwing – 1 Old Town Churchyard.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing in Lower Moors.

Garden Warbler – 1 Longstone.

Whitethroat – 1 Castella Down, St. Agnes.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 in Lower Moors and 1 Porth Killier, St. Agnes.

Redstart – 1 at Longstone.

Black Redstart – 1 Peninnis Lighthouse, 1 Longstone, 2 Porthloo Boatyard, 1 along the walls on the Garrison, 1 on the roof of the Old Town Inn, 1 at the airport and 1 on St.Martin’s.

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 near the Seven Stones Inn.

Pied Flycatcher – 1 near the Seven Stones Inn.

Tree Pipit – 1 Parting Carn.

White Wagtail – 5 Parting Carn, 6 at Borough Farm, St. Mary’s and 1 St. Agnes Cricket Pitch.

Grey Wagtail – 1 Holy Vale and 1 St. Agnes.

Siskin – 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick ringing Station,1 flew over Lower Moors, 1 Parting Carn, 50+ roosted at Trenoweth, 4 in Carreg Dhu Gardens, 15 at Bant’s Carn, 2 Rosehill and 64 on St.Martin’s.
