Swift – 1 over Old Town was the first of the year

Black-throated Diver – 1 in Bull’s Porth St.Martin’s 

Black-tailed Godwit – 2 on the Lower Moors Pool

Iceland Gull – 1 Porthloo, 1, Mount Flagon, 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco, 1 Higher Town, St. Martin’s

Skylark – 1 behind the Fire Station on St. Martin’s 

Tree Pipit – 1 Garrison Campsite, 2 on Bryher

Siskin – 1 on Bryher

Bee-eater – 1 Appletree Road, Tresco was probably the bird that has been on St. Mary’s

Woodchat Shrike – 1 Dolphin Town, Tresco

Hoopoe – 1 Tremelethen and later on the lawn of Porth Hellick House

Cattle Egret – 4 on Tresco

Hawfinch – 1 in a Field at bottom of Rocky Hills next to Rosehill Memorial Garden

Turtle Dove  – 1 in the pig field on the Garrison

Greylag Goose –  1 still in a field on Peninnis

Pintail –  1 on the Great Pool, Tresco

Pochard – 3 Tresco

Swift – An obvious arrival with up to 20 reported around St. Mary’s, 2 New Grimsby, 2 Tresco, 1 Bryher

Cuckoo – 1 calling Holy Vale

Great Northern Diver – 2 off the east side of Tresco

Little Egret – 2 Bryher, 1 Perpitch, St. Martin’s

Marsh Harrier – A cream-crown over Lower Moors

Grey Plover – 1 Bryher

Whimbrel – 8 Pendrathen, 3 Old Town Bay, 25 Appletree Bay, Tresco, 9 Lawrance’s Bay, St. Martin’s, 7 Bryher

Bar-tailed Godwit – 11 Lawrance’s Bay, 1 Par Beach, St. Martin’s, 2 Bryher, 1 Tresco

Common Sandpiper – 1 Lower Moors, 1 Bryher 

Iceland Gull – 2 Porthloo, 1 Newford Duck Pond, 1 Higher Town Quay, St. Martin’s

Hobby – The first of the year was 1 over Content

Cetti’s Warbler – 2 around the Standing Stones Field

Grasshopper Warbler – 1 Bryher

Ring Ouzel – A female at Borough Farm, Tresco

Yellow Wagtail – 2 Bryher, 2 Tresco, 1 over Lower Moors

Tree Pipit – 7 Tresco, 1 on the Garrison
