Great Northern Diver – 1 off the west side of Peninnis

Spoonbill – 1 Samson

Hen Harrier – 1 at Covean, St. Agnes

Whimbrel – 7 Bar Point

Bar-tailed Godwit – 10 Bar Point

Purple Sandpiper – 2 Great Bay, St. Martin’s

Mediterranean Gull – 8 Bar Point

Iceland Gull – The usual suspect in the garden by the pig field behind Star Castle, 1 at Porth Mellon, the pale-headed bird was at Porthloo

Kingfisher – 1 Old Quay, St. Martin’s 

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 Dump Clump

Jackdaw – 1 flew over Church Street, Hugh Town, later seen in the Dump Clump

Swallow – 2 Little Porth, 3 over Peninnis allotments,1 over Porthloo, 3 around Hugh Town, all sightings probably involving 3 or 4 birds

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 Lower Moors, 2 Porth Hellick

Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 Lower Moors, 2 Higher Town, St. Martin’s

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 Dump Clump, 2 Lower Moors

Firecrest – 1 Dump Clump, 1 Lower Moors, 1 Higher Town, St. Martin’s

Cattle Egret – 4 still in a field by Pool Road, Tresco

Siberian Greylag Goose – 1 still in the usual field at the top of Kittydown

Russian White-fronted Goose – 1 still in the usual field at the top of Kittydown

Wigeon – 7 on the Great Pool, Tresco

Shoveler – A drake on the Great Pool, Tresco

Pochard – 5 females on the Great Pool, Tresco

Tufted Duck – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco

Common Scoter – 3 near Nut Rock, Tresco

Red-throated Diver – 1 off Samson

Great Northern Diver – 10 seen form Innisidgen, 6 towards Samson

Slavonian Grebe – 1 off Higher Town St. Martin’s

Little Egret – 5 Porthloo, 1 Pendrathen

Hen Harrier – A ringtail flew east over the Cricket Pitch

Golden Plover – 3 by the Daymark, St. Martin’s

Yellow-legged Gull – A first-winter bird off St. Martin’s

Merlin – 1 Daymark, St. Martin’s 

Swallow – 2 Hugh Town

Yellow-browed Warbler –  On St. Mary’s 2 were in Lower Moors & 1 was between Porth Hellick & Carn Friars by the small pool behind the ringing lanes.                                               On St. Martin’s 2 were  at  Higher Town, 1 was by the Cricket Pitch & 1 was at the vineyard. On Tresco 5 were on Pool Road

Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay
