Pink-footed Goose – 1 calling over new Grimsby, Tresco

Mandarin – The male of unknown origin roosted on a private pond opposite the road to the Golf Club

Shoveler – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco

Wigeon – 3 Porth Hellick Pool

Balearic Shearwater – 1 flew past St. Agnes

American Golden Plover – 

Grey Plover – A “probable” flew over Maypole and then the Golf Course

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Porthloo, 5 Bar Point, 1 St. Agnes

Whimbrel – 2 Trenoweth 

Woodcock  – 1 flushes at Watermill junction            

Jack Snipe – 1 Porth Hellick

Mediterranean Gull – 50 -60 across the islands

Caspian Gull – 1 on Abbey Pool, Tresco

Cuckoo – A very late individual, a juvenile was in the dead pines and then flew to pig field on the Garrison

Short-eared Owl – 1 in trees below Harry’s Walls

Kingfisher – 1 Bar

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 in Holy Vale

Merlin – 1 over the Airfield, 1 Cove Vean, St. Agnes

Raven – 1 over Lower Moors

Skylark – 40 Peninnis, 9 Maypole, 4 Trenoweth, 7 Old Grimsby, Tresco

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing at Higher Moors, 1 Lower Moors

Yellow-browed Warbler 20  St. Mary’s, 1Tresco, 2 St. Agnes 

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 Shooters’

Firecrest – 2 Carreg Dhu, 2 Old Town Churchyard, 1 at the northern end of Holy Vale and 2 in the Parsonage Garden, St. Agnes, 

Ring Ouzel – 1 Horse Point, St. Agnes, 1 in fields below Dolphin House, Tresco

Redwing –  still around in small numbers

Fieldfare – still around in small numbers

Mistle Thrush – 1 in a field at the top of Watermill, 3 Borough Farm, Tresco, 1 by Dolphin Cottage, Tresco

Spotted Flycatcher –  2 Trenoweth, 2 in the Parsonage Garden, St. Agnes, 1 near Dolphin Cottage, Tresco

Nightingale – 1 still at Little Porth

Pied Flycatcher – 1 St. Agnes

Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 Porth Hellick Loop Trail

Black Redstart – 30 St. Mary’s, 11 Tresco, 7 St. Agnes 

Redstart – 1 on the north side of the Garrison below the Dead Pine Walk, 1 Salakee Wood, .

Yellow Wagtail – 1 over Salakee Farm Trail probably the same in a field near Longstone then at Pelistry Riding Stables, 1 Borough Farm, Tresc0

Grey Wagtail – 1 Holy Vale

White Wagtail – 1 Town Beach, 3 Holy Vale, 1 Castle Down, St. Agnes 

Brambling – 3 over Mount Todden

Crossbill – 5 Trenoweth, 2 flew over the Garrison Archway, 4 flew over Pelistry Riding Stables

Siskin – 1 Tresco

Snow Bunting – 1 still below Peninnis lighthouse
