Red-eyed Vireo – 1 still in the pines above Middle Town, St. Martin’s

Radde’s Warbler – 1 by Vine Café, Bryher and by the Abbey Garden Café, Tresco

Little Bunting – 1 by the southeast corner of the Abbey Pool, Tresco

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 by the airfield turning circle then moving to Porth Hellick Pool, 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco

Great White Egret – 1 Great Pool, Tresco

American Golden Plover – 1 still Castle Down, Tresco

Dusky Warbler – 1 on the west side of Porth Cressa beach then flew towards the Garrison Wall

Olive-backed Pipit – 1 calling over the Telegraph Road Lower Moors entrance, also flew over the Standing Stones Field

Citrine Wagtail – A “possible” over Normandy calling.

Brent Goose  – 7 between Bryher & Samson

Greylag Goose  – 1 Four Lanes

Pink-footed Goose – 7 Four Lanes, 4 in Cliffs Fields, Tresco

Wigeon – 1 Porth Hellick,  Great Pool, Tresco

Shoveler – 2 Great Pool, Tresco

Pochard  – 2 Great Pool, Tresco

Common Scoter – 1 in The Roads

Long-tailed Duck – A drake flew east past Morning Point

Spoonbill – 3 on Samson

Woodcock – 1 Content                             

Jack Snipe – 2 Lower Moors

Mediterranean Gull – 1 Porth Cressa, 1 Hugh Town Quay

Iceland Gull – 1 on rocks between St. Mary’s & Tresco

Wryneck – 1 north west of Wingletang, St. Agnes

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 Holy Vale, 1 Pool Road, Tresco

Hobby – 1 south over New Inn, Tresco

Red-backed Shrike – 1 still behind Longstone Lodge

Hooded Crow – 1 on the airfield, it or another in fields near Dolphin House, Tresco

Raven – 1 over Vine Café, Bryher

Skylark – 1 Porth Hellick

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 Lower Moors, 1 Porth Hellick

Yellow-browed Warbler – A big increase 50+ on St. Mary’s, 15 on St. Agnes, 4 on Gugh 7+ on Tresco,5+ on Bryher and strangely only 1 on St. Martin’s (the most easterly of the inhabited islands). Giving a total of 80+ across the islands

Lesser Whitethroat – The putative “Blythi” still present near Newman Pottery on the Garrison and another “eastern type” at Porth Hellick, it or another at Salakee

Redwing – Seems to have been a small fall overnight Saturday/Sunday

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Carreg Dhu

Nightingale – 1 still at the dump

Pied Flycatcher – 1 St. Agnes

Redstart – 1 on the Garrison, 1 near Peninnis Lighthouse

Whinchat – 1 Higher Moors Pumping Station, 1 Carn Friars, 2 in the horse field to the west of Holy Vale

Tree Pipit –1 flew high over the Dump

Crossbill – 3 over Higher Moors Pumping Station, 3 over Porthloo, 3 Porth Hellick, 4 Porth Hellick Down, 3 over Carreg Dhu

Siskin – 50+ on St. Mary’s

Reed Bunting – 1 flew over Standing Stones Field, it or another in Lower Moors, 3 in the bracken by Camel Rock, Porth Hellick

Lapland Bunting – 2 St. Agnes, 1 over Longstone, 1 Castle Down, Tresco

Snow Bunting – 1 Peninnis
