Little Bunting – 1 was on the east side of the Abbey Pool, Tresco

Brent Goose  – 7 off Samson

Greylag Goose  – 7 in a field at Four Lanes

Pink-footed Goose – 1 in a field at Four Lanes

Shelduck – 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco, 1 Samson

Wigeon – 4 on Porth Hellick Pool

Spoonbill – 1 Samson

Great White Egret – 1 flew over St. Mary’s before settling in a tree on St. Agnes

Sparrowhawk – 2 Longstone Lodge, 1 Holy Vale, 1 St. Martin’s

Buzzard – 1 over Gimble Porth, Tresco

Golden Plover – 1 flew west over Shipman Head Down, Bryher, 3 still on Castle Down, Tresco

American Golden Plover – 1 still on Castle Down, Tresco

Grey Plover – 1 St. Martin’s

Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 Porthloo Beach

Knot – 8 flew from Tresco to Samson 

Whimbrel – 1 Mount Todden

Sanderling – 9 Porthloo Beach, 15 St. Martin’s

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 Porth Hellick Pool, the on the airfield, 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco

Jack Snipe – 1 Porth Hellick Pool

Mediterranean Gull – 1 past the Garrison towards the quay, 1 St. Martin’s

Iceland Gull – What was probably the same bird was reported from several sights around Tresco and Samson

Kingfisher – 1 Porth Hellick Bay

Wryneck – 1 Deep Point Quarry

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 around St. Mary’s 

Red-backed Shrike – 1 still behind Longstone Lodge

Hooded Crow – 1 between Old and New Grimsby, Tresco

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Holy Vale, 1 Carn Gwaval, 1 in a garden opposite Porthloo Boatyard, 1 Lower Broome, Garrison, 1 Rosehill, 1 Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moors, 2 Carn Friars, 1 on the road near the entrance to Higher Moors. 1 in garden at the top Buzza, 1 Higher Moors Pumping Station, 1 Carreg Dhu, 1 Watermill, 1 Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s, 1 Pool Road, Tresco

Barred Warbler – 1 on the coastal path between Watermill and Pelistry

Lesser Whitethroat – The Blythi type was still in the sycamores between the Garrison Arch and Newman Pottery

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Carn Friars Farm

Nightingale – 1 still at the Dump

Pied Flycatcher – 1 Holy Vale, 1 Carn Friars

Black Redstart – 1 Porthloo

Redstart – 1 Porth Minnick

Whinchat – 1 on the coastal path east of Watermill, 2 in fields below Porth Hellick House. 1 on the north side of St. Martin’s

Grey Wagtail – 1 flew over Fraggle Rock, Bryher

Common Rosefinch – 1 Longstone, 1 Deep Point Quarry, 1 in the old quarry at Woolpack Point on the Garrison, 1 Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s

Lesser Redpoll – 2 Middle Down, Tresco

Crossbill – 1 Longstone, 3 flew over Green Farm

Siskin – 3 flew over Mount Todden, 8 Middle Down, Tresco

Reed  Bunting – 1 still at Porth Hellick in bracken by the boathouse, 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco

Lapland Bunting – 1 in a field on Sandy Lane
