Red-eyed Vireo – 1 still in the pines above Middle Town, St. Martin’s

Brent Goose  – 8 in Tresco Channel

Greylag Goose  – 2 seen around St. Mary’s ending up at Four Lanes

Pink-footed Goose – 7 seen around St. Mary’s ending up at Four Lanes, 4 Appletree Point, Tresco then moving to the Abbey Pool

Wigeon – 1 Porth Hellick Pool

Red-throated Diver – 1 in St. Mary’s Sound

Spoonbill – 1 on Samson

Sparrowhawk – 1 Tresco

Golden Plover – 3 on Castle Down, Tresco

American Golden Plover – 1 on Castle Down, Tresco

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Porthloo

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 flushed from Lower Moors and it or another was seen Porth Hellick Pool. 1 was seen and photographed on the airfield just before dusk 

Jack Snipe – 1 Porth Hellick Pool

Iceland Gull –  1 flew west across Porth Cressa

Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay, 1 Porth Hellick, 1 Porth Cressa

Wryneck – 1 in Deep Point Quarry

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 Holy Vale, 1 on Tresco

Merlin – 1 Castle Down, Tresco

Red-backed Shrike – 1 still behind Longstone Lodge

Chough – 1 briefly at Morning Point Battery on the Garrison, a true Scilly rarity

Hooded Crow – 1 in a field above New Grimsby

Coal Tit  –  1in the pines at Borough Farm, Tresco, 1 in the Porth Hellick Pines (this is a scarce bird on Scilly)

Skylark – 1 Peninnis, 1 Pelistry

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 Porth Hellick

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Old Town Churchyard, 1 Carn Gwaval, 1 Lower Moors, 1 Carreg Dhu Gardens, 1 on Telegraph Road between Rosehill and the stat of Sunnyside Trail, 1 Nowhere, 1 Shooters’ Pool, 1 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors, 1 Higher Moors,1 between the hides on Pool Road, Tresco, 1 at the far end of the Great Pool, Tresco, 1 in the elms behind the cricket pitch on St. Martin’s, 1 Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s 

Barred Warbler – 1 on the coastal path between Watermill and Pelistry

Lesser Whitethroat – The Blythi type was still in the sycamores by the Garrison Arch, 1 between the hides at Porth Hellick

Firecrest – 2 Abbey crossroads, Tresco

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Holy Vale

Nightingale – 1 still on the bank of the Dump

Pied Flycatcher – 1 Holy Vale, 1 in the coppice between Higher Moors Pumping Station and Carn Friars Farm

Black Redstart – 1 in gardens opposite Porthloo Boatyard

Redstart – A male at Porth Minnick

Whinchat – 1 in the field at the southern entrance to Holy Vale, at 2 Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s

Water Pipit –  A “probable” on the Garrison football pitch

Common Rosefinch – 1 on Gugh, 1 St. Martin’s

Lesser Redpoll – 1 in the gardens of Pilot’s Retreat, Hugh Town

Siskin – 1 Pelistry

Reed Bunting – 1 still in the bracken between Porth Hellick Beach & Camel Rock

Lapland  Bunting – 2 on Castle Down, Tresco

Snow Bunting – 1 on Castle Down, Tresco
