Saturday

Green Sandpiper flew over Lunnon, a Mediterranean Gull was at Pelistry, a Wheatear was at Deep Point and 2 Crossbill were in Carreg Dhu pines.

On Tresco 9 Greenshank, 5 Redshank & 3 Little Egret were on the Great Pool and a Garden Warbler & a Whitethroat were on Pool Road.

Sunday

The Mediterranean Gull was still at Pelistry and 2 Swift were over Buzza.

On Tresco there were 93 Sanderling, 2 Dunlin, a Whimbrel & 19 Sandwich Tern on the beach near Skirt Island, 3 Greenshank, 2 Redshank & 2 Little Egret were on the Great Pool. 14 Grey Heron & 3 Little Egret were in a tree by Abbey Pool and 19 Mediterranean Gull were on Plumb Island in Tresco Channel.

Monday 

After last week’s bonanza the evening pelagic trip produced just 4 European Storm-petrel and a Mediterranean Gull. A Wheatear was at Carn Near, Tresco

Tuesday

Another juvenile male Cetti’s Warbler was trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick, this was the third in recent weeks, surely they must be breeding on the island.

Common Sandpiper was at New Grimsby, Tresco and 2 Crossbill were on St. Martin’s

A Cory’s Shearwater and a Sooty Shearwater were seen from the Scillonian III.
