It looks like the 2 Chough may have gone, there have been no reports since Thursday 26/03, let’s hope they are prospecting on one of the uninhabited Eastern Islands.

Tuesday 

 The Lesser Kestrel was still at Porth Hellick Down and a Snow Bunting was near Tregarthen’s Hotel in Hugh Town and the Rook was at Mount Todden

 Merlin, a Great Northern Diver, a Bar-tailed Godwit& a Black Redstart  were all at Porthloo.

Willow Warbler, 2 Redwing, a Swallow & 2 Sand Martin were at Longstone.

Wednesday

The Lesser Kestrel was still at Porth Hellick Down with 2 Common Kestrel, a Great Northern Diver was in Porthcressa, a Bar-tailed Godwit was on Porthloo Beach and a Raven  & 3 Wheatear were on Peninnis. Another Wheatear was on the Garrison, where there was also a Willow Warbler and a White Wagtail.

Thursday

The Lesser Kestrel was still at Porth Hellick Down and a Merlin flew over Old Town Bay. The Bar-tailed Godwit was on Taylor’s Island, the Cetti’s Warbler  was by the dump and there were 8 Wheatear Peninnis & 4 at Porth Hellick Down. A Black Redstart, a Willow Warbler and 2 Blackcap were on Peninnis.

Friday 

The Lesser Kestrel was still at Porth Hellick Down and the Snow Bunting was on Holgate’s Green. 8 Great Northern Diver were in the Roads, 3 were in Crow Sound, 1 was at Porthloo and 1 was at Porthcressa. The Bar-tailed Godwit was again on Taylor’s Island, a Black Redstart & 2 Wheatear were on Peninnis, a Raven was circling over Buzza and a Short-eared Owl was at Camel Rock.
