Blyth’s Pipit – 1 still on the west side of Peninnis.

Olive-backed Pipit – 1 still at Little Arthur Farm, St. Martins.

Short-toed Lark – 1 still on the Airfield.

Richard’s Pipit – 1 still on the Airfield.

Ortolan Bunting – 1 on St. Martin’s.

Little Bunting – 1 found freshly dead, having flown into a window at Porthloo.

Common Rosefinch – 1 on s/t. Martin’s.

Quail – 1 still on Peninnis.

Yellow-legged Gull – 1 Porth Hellick.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 Holy Vale/Higher Moors and 1 Tresco.

Pink-footed Geese – 2 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Garganey – A juvenile on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Spoonbill – 1 on Stony Island.

Osprey – 1 over Tresco and Bryher.

Snow Bunting – 3 by the Daymark, St. Martin’s.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 5 on St. Mary’s, 1 on St. Agnes and 1 on Tresco.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 on Higher Moors.

Firecrest – 5 on St. Mary’s, 1 on Tresco, 1 on St. Agnes and 2 on St. Martin’s.

Jack Snipe – 1 Lower Moors Pool and 1 Tresco.

Ring Ouzel – 1 on St. Agnes.

Mistle Thrush – 1 on Peninnis.

Black Redstart – 2 Porthloo, 4 Porthcressa.

Lesser Redpoll – 2 Lower Moors..

Crossbill – 1 Newford Duck Pond.

Wigeon – 13 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Pintail – A female on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Shoveler – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Common Scoter – A female off Peninnis, amazingly the first record of the autumn.

Great Northern Diver – 2 off Samson and1 off Giant’s Castle.

Golden Plover – 1 Porth Hellick and 5 on St. Martin’s.

Grey Plover – 1 Teän and 2 St. Martin’s.

Bar-tailed Godwit – The first of the month was 1 on Stony Island.

Mediterranean Gull – 1 Tresco, 1 Eastern Isles and 1 Porthcressa.

Short-eared Owl – 1 Peninnis and the Airfield.

Merlin – 1 or 2 around the islands.

Whinchat – 1 Tresco and 1 Bryher.

Yellow Wagtail – 1 Tresco.
