St. Mary’s – 3 Pale-bellied Brent Geese & a Red-breasted Merganser in Porth Mellon and a Spoonbill in Old Town Bay.

Friday 19th November 2010 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – 7 Whimbrel, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit and 2 Brambling at Bar Point. A Siberian Chiffchaff. a late Willow Warbler, 2 Brambling and a Jack snipe were in Lower Moors. The Spoonbill was still feeding in Old Town Bay, a Black Redstart was on Porthcressa Beach and 3 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were on Newford Island, Porthloo.

St. Mary’s – A Dusky Warbler near the Hilda Quick hide in Lower Moors, the Cetti’s Warbler still on the Porth Hellick Loop trail and a Spoonbill feeding in Old Town Bay,

St, Mary’s – A Wigeon, 8 Common Teal, a Jack Snipe, a Greenshank, 2 late Swallows, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Firecrest and 5 Bramblings all in Lower Moors. A Black Redstart on Porthcressa Beach, 3 Pale-bellied Brent Geese at Shark’s Pit, a Little Grebe on Porth Hellick Pool and a Spoonbill at Old Town.

St. Mary’sCetti’s Warbler & a Great Spotted Woodpecker on Porth Hellick Loop trail and Black Redstart at Bar Point.
