A good spread of scarce migrants across the islands today. Highlights include:

Tresco – Bee-eater flew south over Old Grimsby at 11.30hrs.

Gugh – Short-toed Lark on sandbar this morning

St Martin’s – Golden Oriole fem above Middle Town in pines on The Plain late afternoon

St Agnes – Woodchat Shrike still between Covean and Wingletang.

St Mary’s – Great-northern Diver (5) in The Roads also Cuckoo at Porth Hellick & Peninnis, Swift over Holy Vale and 6 Golden Plover on the golf course.
