Short eared Owl, Pentle Bay Tresco 220412 (W.Wagstaff)

St Mary’s – Two Little Egrets were at Old Town and the immature male Eider was seen at Pendrathen again. A Siskin at Trenoweth was a surprise and a Common Snipe was on Lower Moors after a gap of a few days.

Tresco – A Short-eared Owl was near Pentle Bay again whilst on the Great Pool three Tufted Duck were new in and a flock of 18 Whimbrel were counted along with three Redshank and two Jackdaws
