St. Mary’s – 2 Green Sandpipers and a Common Snipe were in Lower Moors.
Bryher – The Short-toed Lark and the juvenile Dotterel were still on Shipman Head Down.
Tresco – A Purple Heron flew over Abbey Gardens, also on the island were 5 Sanderlings.
At sea – Birds seen on a daytime pelagic trip included 18 Cory’s, 16 Great & 60 European Storm-petrels and an Arctic Skuas also 3 Blue Sharks were caught tagged & releases and 4 Ocean Sunfish were seen. 5 Great Shearwaters, 5 Cory’s Shearwaters, 3 Balearic Shearwaters, 100 European Storm-petrels, and a Great Skua were seen on the Scillonian crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
