St. Mary’s – A Bee-eater flew over MacFarland’s Down towards Tresco.

Tresco – The Black Kite spent the day on Tresco with the occasional visit to Bryher and the Bee-eater was heard but not seen. Also on the island were 2 Common Buzzards, 3 Wigeons, 2 Greenshanks, a Redshank and 2 Jackdaws.

Samson – A Marsh Harrier.

At sea – A Short-range pelagic trip, 5 miles south of St. Mary’s produced 20+ European Storm-petrels, a Wilson’s Storm-Petrel, a Great Skua and 2 Blue Sharks.
