St. Mary’s – The Blue-winged Teal was still in Lower Moors, the Dusky Warbler was in fields just below Harry’s Walls, 2 Pink-footed Geese were at Mount Todden Farm and 4 Iceland Gulls (2 second-winter & 2 juveniles) were commuting between Porth Mellon & the dump. 3 Slavonian Grebes could be seen from MacFarland’s Down on the sea between St. Martin’s and the Eastern Isles.
Tresco – On the sea, 2 Long-tailed Ducks were in Pentle Bay, 2 first-winter drake Eiders were off Tobaccoman’s Point,, a drake Scaup was off South Beach and 3 Spoonbills were on South Beach.
