St. Mary’s – The Spotted Sandpiper and a Black-tailed Godwit were at Porth Hellick. A Buff-breasted Sandpiper was on the airfield, a Pied & a Spotted Flycatcher were at Higher Moors and Hobby flew over there. 2 Mediterranean Gulls were on Taylor’s Island, Porthloo.
Tresco – A Black-tailed Godwit, a Marsh Harrier, a Common Buzzard, 2 Turtle Doves and 8 Yellow Wagtails.
St. Agnes – A Whimbrel. Late news from Thursday 23rd a Grasshopper Warbler and a Wryneck.
The Scillonian crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s produced 3 Grey Phalaropes and 3 Sooty Shearwaters.
