The Isles of Scilly Recorder is John Headon who is responsible for the gathering and collation of all records, including any you may have for orders other than birds. All records should be submitted to the Recorder, preferably by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by post to:
Isles of Scilly
“PLEASE NOTE: The preferred deadline for receiving records is 1st January. The spreadsheet of records has to be sent to the Review species writers in early January so that the species accounts can be returned by the end of March in order to meet the final Review deadline in April. These dates are much earlier than for many other county reports because we have to publish in September in order to have copies available for visitors in October.
The ideal situation would be for observers to send in their reports as soon as they return home from their visits to Scilly, which would enable the completion of the ‘Master’ spreadsheet by the end of December. Records may be sent in any format, but it would be extremely helpful if Excel spreadsheets are used. Better still would be to use the actual Excel format of the ‘Master’ spreadsheet. If anyone would like to enter their records that way, then please contact the Recorder (address above) who will email you a personalised copy.”
