Submission of Records from Scillonian crossings.

There is now a facility on BirdTrack for observers to submit their sightings from the Scillonian crossings. There are two new sites for Cornwall which are “At sea: Penzance to St Mary’s” and “At sea: Penzance to Wolf Rock”, and two new sites for Scilly “ At sea: St Mary’s to Penzance” and “At sea: St Mary’s to Wolf Rock

It would be most useful if records could be entered as “At sea: Penzance to Wolf Rock” or “At sea: St Mary’s to Wolf Rock”, this would enable records to be assigned to Cornwall or Scilly appropriately. If however you are unsure as to the location of a sighting, the record should still be of use and should be entered as “At sea: Penzance to St Mary’s” or “ At sea: St Mary’s to Penzance”

BirdTrack can be found at http://www.bto.org/birdtrack/
