Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The only report was of a European Storm-petrel off the Garrison.

Wednesday’s birds were:

At sea – A Wilson’s Storm-petrel, a Great and 7 Cory’s Shearwaters were seen from the Scillonian III on the crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Thursday’s birds were:

St. Martin’s – A Mediterranean Gull.

At sea – A first for Scilly Pelagics, proved to be very successful with the best trip of the year so far. The party saw 5 Wilson’s Storm-petrels, 200+ European Storm-petrels, 3 Great & 22 Cory’s Shearwaters and 15+ Common Dolphins.

Friday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Green Sandpiper was on Porth Hellick Pool.

Bryher – A Common Sandpiper and a Hooded Crow.

At sea – The first trip of the Oriole Holidays pelagic weekend produced 2 Wilson’s Storm-petrels, 150+ European Storm-petrels, 2 Great Shearwaters,2 Great Skuas and 4 Blue Sharks which were tagged and released.

Saturday’s birds were:

Gugh – The first returning Northern Wheatear of the autumn.

Tresco – 12 Common Sandpipers, 3 Common Redshanks and a Whimbrel.

At sea – Seen from today’s pelagic were: 80+ European Storm-petrels, 2 Great Skuas, a Sooty and a Great Shearwater.
