Ruff, Lower Moors (M.Goodey)

St. Mary’s – 2 Ruff, 7 Snipe, a Kingfisher and the first Yellow-browed Warbler of the autumn were in Lower Moors. A Corncrake was near Deep Point, single Wrynecks were near the windsock on the airfield & on Peninnis, a Yellow Wagtail & a Pied Flycatcher were at Porth Hellick, 3 Spotted Flycatchers were at Carn Friars and a Kingfisher & 3 Pied Flycatchers were on the Garrison.

Tresco – The Ortolan Bunting, the Spotted Crake, the Little Stints, the 2 Curlew Sandpipers, the 2 Ruff, the Green & the Common Sandpiper and the Black-tailed Godwit were all still present.

St. Agnes – 2 Little Stints, 6 Curlew Sandpipers, 11 Dunlins, a Kingfisher, 2 Whinchats and a Pied Flycatcher.
