St. Agnes – 2 Bee-eaters flew over Wingletang mid-morning and 5 came in off the sea at Troy Town mid –afternoon, all 7 Bee-eaters were seen together at Higher Town in the evening. Also on the island was a Spotted Flycatcher.

Gugh – A Common Cuckoo.

Tresco – Pochards seem to have bred successfully again, a female was seen with 3 young on the Great Pool.

St. Mary’s – A lingering Wheatear was on Peninnis . A pair of Canada Geese with 2 young were on Porth Hellick Pool, this is the first time since 2001 that they have bred and possibly the first time for breeding away from Tresco.
