Sunday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The Lesser Yellowlegs, a Green Sandpiper & a Little Stint were at Porth Hellick and a Water Rail, a Green Sandpiper & 2 Common Snipe were at Lower Moors. A Wryneck was on the Garrison and a Lapland Bunting was on the Airfield.

St. Martin’s – 5 Brent Geese, a Wryneck, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Pied Flycatchers, a Garden Warbler and 2 Lapland Buntings.

Bryher – A Brent Goose, 4 Wrynecks, a Tree Pipit, 2 Whinchats, a Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Lapland Buntings.

Tresco – 7 Brent Geese, a Spotted Crake, a Green Sandpiper and 2 Pied Flycatchers.

St. Agnes – A Whimbrel, a Wryneck and a Whinchat.

Samson – A Golden Plover and 2 Mediterranean Gulls.

Teän – A Bar-tailed Godwit.

At sea – 3 Grey Phalaropes and 4 Cory’s, 4 Great, 4 Sooty & 2 Balearic Shearwater were seen on the Scillonian III crossings.

Monday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The Lesser Yellowlegs, 8 Greenshanks, a Redshank, a Common Sandpiper and 3 Dunlins were on Porth Hellick Pool. A Wryneck was on the Dead Pine Walk, the Garrison and a Green Sandpiper & 2 Common Snipe were on Lower Moors Pool. Single Whimbrels were at Old Town Bay and on Taylor’s Island, Porthloo.

St. Agnes – A Lesser Yellowlegs (a different bird to the one at Porth Hellick) was found early evening on the Big Pool.

Bryher – 2 Wrynecks, 2 Whinchats and a Pied Flycatcher.

Tresco – The Spotted Crake, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Yellow Wagtail, a Spotted and 4 Pied Flycatchers.
