Wednesday 5th
St. Mary’s – The 2 Greenland white-fronted Geese were still at Porth Hellick and a Slavonian Grebe was off Innisidgen.
Friday 7th
St. Mary’s – The 2 Greenland white-fronted Geese were still at Porth Hellick.
St. Martin’s – A Slavonian Grebe, a Red-throated Diver and 3 Brent Geese were offshore.
Saturday 8th
St. Mary’s – The 2 Greenland white-fronted Geese were still at Porth Hellick.
Tresco – 2 Short-eared Owls were near the wood pile above Pentle Bay.
Sunday 9th
St. Mary’s – The first Sand Martin of the year flew over the Woolpack on the Garrison.
The 2 Greenland white-fronted Geese were still at Porth Hellick, a Black Redstart was in a garden in High Lanes, the Firecrest was still in Carreg Dhu Gardens and a White Wagtail was at Parting Carn.
Monday 10th
St. Mary’s – Early migrants were 2 House Martins over Higher Moors and 5 House Martins, 4 Sand Martins & 3 Black Redstarts at Porthloo.
The juvenile Iceland Gull was again at Porthcressa.
