The 2 Black-necked Grebes were in Town Bay throughout the fortnight. On Saturday (14/01) a juvenile Glaucous Gull flew over Porthcressa and it was seen on the rocks there on Friday (20/01). 2 Slavonian Grebes and 10 Great Northern Divers were off Innisidgen on Tuesday (17/01). On Thursday (19/01) a Firecrest was in a garden in Holy Vale and 3 Spoonbills were on Samson. A Kingfisher was at Deep Point on Sunday (22/01) and a boat trip around the islands produced 2 Black-necked Grebes, 2 Slavonian Grebes, 10 Great Northern Divers, a Brent Goose, 2 Spoonbills, 4 Purple Sandpipers & 10 Grey Plovers.
