St. Mary’s – The Great Spotted Woodpecker was in Holy Vale, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers were at Higher Moors with another at Lower Moors. A Firecrest, 2 Reed Buntings & a Kingfisher were in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors and another Kingfisher was trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick.
Tresco – A trip to Tresco by one local birder produced 2 Pink-footed Geese, 2 Long-tailed Ducks, 14 Wigeon, a juvenile Garganey, a Little Grebe, a Kingfisher, 26 Little Egrets, 3 Kestrels, 18 Fieldfares, 40 Redwings, 5 Bramblings, 23 Siskins and a Reed Bunting.
