Monday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The Little Bittern and the Little Ringed Plover were still at Lower Moors. A Night Heron was seen several times in the Porth Hellick/Holy Vale area in the daytime and flew into Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moors late evening.

Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – The Little Bittern & the Little Ringed Plover were still at Lower Moors, the Short-toed Lark was still on Peninnis and 3 Whimbrels were on Old Town Beach.

Tresco – The 2 Black-winged Stilts were still on the island; 1 at the southeast end of the Great Pool and the other on Simpson’s Field, where there were also 2 Blue-headed Wagtails. Also on the island were 25 Whimbrels, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Hobby and a drake Pintail.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A Western Bonelli’s Warbler was singing in the hedge on the south side of the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors. Nearby the female Little Bittern was still on Lower Moors Pool, where it was joined late evening by an adult Night Heron. 2 Dotterels & a Golden Plover where on the Golf Course, a Green Sandpiper was on Porth Hellick Pool, a Merlin flew over the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors and 19 Whimbrels were on Porthloo Beach.

Tresco – The 2 Black-winged Stilts were still at Simpson’s Field and a Ring Ouzel was on the old heliport field.

St. Martin’s – 13 Whimbrels.
