Monday’s birds were:

Bryher – The Hooded Crow was still present.

Samson – A Spoonbill.

Tuesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – A first-winter was seen from Bant’s Carn.

Samson – A Spoonbill.

Wednesday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – 2 Firecrests were in Carreg Dhu Gardens, the juvenile Rose-coloured Starling was still in the allotments opposite the incinerator and the 2 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still in the Porth Hellick/Salakee Farm area. A Long-eared Owl was seen at Parting Carn and it or another flew over Longstone. On the water a Little Auk was seen from Bant’s Carn and a Slavonian Grebe 7 a Dark-bellied Brent Goose were seen from Innisidgen.
