Friday’s birds were:

St. Agnes – 36 Dunlin, 18 Common Sandpipers, 1 Green Sandpiper, 3 Sanderlings, 15 Ringed Plovers and a Quail.

At sea – A Cory’s, a Sooty and 3 Balearic Shearwaters were seen from the Scillonian III.

Saturday’s birds were:

St. Agnes – 3 Dunlin.

At sea – The birders’ special pelagic trip was a four Skua day- a first-summer Long-tailed, a Pomarine, 3 Arctic and 15 Great Skuas. Also seen on the trip were 100+ European-storm Petrels, a Great Shearwater, 3 Sooty Shearwaters, 100+ Common Dolphins, 35+ Bottlenose Dolphins and 4 Ocean Sunfish.

Sunday’s birds were:

St. Mary’s – 8 Greenshanks, a Water Rail & a Peregrine were at Porth Hellick and a Green Sandpiper was in Lower Moors.

At sea – Birds seen on the birders’ special pelagic trip included: 200+ European-storm Petrels, 3 Great Shearwaters, 2 Long-tailed Skuas and15+ Great Skuas. Also seen was an Ocean Sunfish and 4 Blue Sharks were caught, tagged and released.

A Balearic Shearwater, a Sooty Shearwater, 45 European Storm-petrels, a Pomarine Skua and 4 Great Skuas were seen from the Scillonian III on the late afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
