St. Mary’s – A Spotted Redshank flew north over Porth Hellick Pool.
At sea – 27 European Storm-petrels, 5 Cory’s, a Balearic, a Sooty & 3 Great Shearwaters and 20+ Common Dolphins were seen from the Scillonian III on the crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s. On the return crossing 30+ European Storm-petrels, 5 Cory’s, 2 Great and 2 Sooty Shearwaters were seen.
The evening short-range pelagic trip produced 2 Wilson’s Storm-petrels, 50+ European Storm-petrels, 2 Great Skuas, 39 Great, 6 Cory’s and 5 Sooty Shearwaters.
